We are The Wine Keller Limited of 'Little Orchard', Cox Green Lane, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 3EL, UK.
Our VAT registration number is 844 6963 85. We are a wine merchant, serving customers in the UK.
Pricing
All quoted pricing is in pounds sterling and includes duty paid and is inclusive of VAT. Quoted prices are per bottle.
Prices do not include the cost of delivery. See below for current delivery charges.
Placing an Order
You can place an order by sending us an email info@thewinekeller.co.uk or by telephoning or faxing us on 01628 620143.
Your order will be based upon our prevailing wine prices at the time you submit your order.
We will confirm your order in writing.
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order with The Wine Keller.
Minimum order
There is no minimum order. Bottles are all 75cl bottles, unless otherwise stated.
Deliveries Free local delivery in the Maidenhead area.
Nationwide next day service with Winetrak (Amtrak's dedicated service for the transportation of Wine.)
The time of delivery is based upon the standard 9am-5.30pm working day period, but premium services such as before 9am and Saturday deliveries can be arranged for an additional charge.
Standard charge of £10 including VAT for case of 12 bottles within Mainland UK.
£5 for the second case of 12 bottles.
£3 for the third case of 12 bottles.
For the Highlands, islands and Ireland, please phone for a delivery quote.
For gift packs, please contact us for a quote.
Please not that these charges are for standard retail orders. We can quote charges for multiple corporate orders.
All deliveries need to be signed for, so please ensure somebody will be in to receive the wine. If there is nobody to sign for the delivery, Amtrak will leave a card asking you to call and rearrange delivery. After 2 failed delivery attempts, the wine will be returned to us and will need to be resent. This will incur additional charges, for which the customer is liable.
You may authorise the courier to leave the wine in a specific place or with a neighbour, but The Wine Keller cannot be held responsible after delivery if the wine goes missing. You must notify us promptly if the wine does not arrive.
Incorrect order, breakages and refunds
Please be certain to check the number of bottles before you sign for delivery, we cannot replace wines that have been signed for but not actually received.
You must notify us within 48 hours of any bottles which do not match your order or of any breakages. In the event of a breakage we will follow up with Amtrak and source you replacement wine(s). In the event of the wrong wines being delivered, please leave them intact and we will replace.
If a wine is corked, we will also replace.
Vintages
When a vintage is exhausted, the next available vintage is offered.
Payment Options
Cash, cleared cheque, all major debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro(switch)/Solo).
Payment terms
Payment details must be provided at the time of order, but you will not be charged until your order has been dispatched. Returned cheques will incur an immediate charge of £20 + VAT per cheque.
Title of goods and Risk
Wines you order will remain the property of The Wine Keller Ltd until fully paid for. Risk in the wine you order passes to you on acceptance of delivery. The current price list cancels all previous list and is subject to fluctuations in currency, duty, tax and availability of stock.
Our liability to you
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability to our customers will not exceed the total amount we charge you in respect of that order.

We do not use this information for any other purpose, nor do we share or trade this information with any other parties. We collect your email address if you opt to join The Wine Keller Club. We will only use your email address for the purpose of sending you newsletters and information updates.
